Netiquette is a name for the rules of on the internet. Often the unwritten, but widely accepted, rules of netiquette are an important aspect of interacting on the internet. Questions here should be about using proper netiquette, and whether something is (or is not) proper netiquette. Questions can be specific to certain websites, which may or may not have their own written rules on netiquette. Reddit has the Redittiquette, has the be-nice policy, etc.
